I have a bug

Since downloading Baumers missions (Not saying it's your fault...just explaining) my one on ones won't work.  I can spawn on the runway but the mission never runs so I don't get any order and warp doesn't work.   I tried adding a "wing" to my plane to see if that would make the mission run and he will start to taxi then disappear.   

Any ideas as far as recalculating or anything I can do to revive the one on ones.   The default P51 won't even run.

Have you downloaded the 0.80 patch 1 mission editor? With the last update to Aces High, missions that were created with the 0.80 ME will not work properly. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that would create the issue. I'll think about it some more and see if I can come up with anything else.

It's probably related to the offline bug.

Are these missions ones that you made from scratch? If so check the mission properties and check to see if you have placed a number in briefing time. So far when there seem to be no direction from "LEAD", It seems to be the briefing time is blank. I usually put the number 5 in there and that clears this up. I had the problem as you.

This happened last time I downloaded the "Kill the japanease guy mission" Baumer made.  I deleted the mission and it worked again.  It appears something is happening when I download anything from Baumer.  I downloaded Cole's and everything worked.  ??

I havn't actually "made" any missions.  To make a mission to my preference I will copy the default one v one and open it in editor then change the planes to what I want to fly.  Has always worked so far.  Same thing with Baumers....I didn't like Ghosts dc3 so I changed it to KI-61 I think and made them "wing" so I would only have two v two.

Can I email you a 1v1, Baumer, and see if it plays for you or see if you can find what is going on.  Like I said, they spawn for me but no white text comes up and no green arrow on the map showing the mission run ever starts.

EDIT***  On second though, would you mind making me a simple 1v1 with like spits or something like the default so I can see if it works.  That way if I have germs they won't get spread

BINGO!!    Weird but that done it.  Don't know why even default p51 worked until I downloaded Baumers missions but that fixed it anyway after I put in a briefing time.  I don't have to quit the game after each mission and return anymore either.  Great fix. Hope others are aware of this.

Glad I could help. Took me about 2 hours to figure this out with my own mission. I have posted this in a couple of other threads. I am hoping that a number of people have seen it. If not I will keep posting.
