On first picture. Do you use a OE exported objects with new textures?
I'm asking this, because OE exported objects very often has a double vertices.

If I remember right the Google SketshUp don't support the AC3D (.ac) format export.
Also I not sure if SketshUp can handle the needed groups, LODs and properties.

Based to my limited 3D experiences; only the AC3D (out from the box) and the Blender (with AH specific export script) can do a AH-OE compatible .ac objects.
