Can you provide some further info such as system specs? By "moss" you mean Mosquito?

Something about the Mosquito is eating a lot of time.  In the hangar most planes show 20-30 fps but the Mosquito drops down to 7-9 FPS.  There are others that drop it into the teens but the Mosquito seems to be the toughest to draw.

As Max said we need system specs, the drop could be caused by many things, including: RAM, Video Card, Motherboard, possible Virus, Operating system (Vista is much slower), and number of processes running.

If it is a plane specific issue it could well be a buggy sound.  Go to the sounds folder and delete the sound folder for the Mossie.  Start teh game up again and it will regenerate the folder.
