Oak is just trying to get every one to work together.  It is kind of like herding cats some time so he get a little excited some times.   No big deal.

We are all still really new to this working together thingy.   It hard work  as the prez would say.   :aok

The whole reason that i have caps on is for all allies know who i am as a XO.  I do not yell at them, i encourage them to fight and push the axis back.  The CO agrees with my methods and most allies understand why we do it.  You have to understand that the leadership of the allies have finally got there acts together.
Your comments about the remarks i have made is respected.  That is you opinion.  However, my leadership for the allies have help boost the allies confidence.  
Laugh and criticized me all you want.  But what the CO and I have been doing is helping the allies.

I dunno *ShruG* Honestly my first reaction reading the text buffer that night was "Is oak a drunk or a kid? Or a drunk kid?" My second reaction was to get him to pick one objective and stick to it "WE NEED A50 MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!" "IM THE XO AND FLATIRON SAID MIND ME!" "GET IT! GO! GO! NOW!" (Arlo makes a P47 strike mission, 2 others join and we're halfway to A50) "WE NEED V102! NOW! GO GET IT! MOVE!" Arlo says, "Geez, do you want A50 or Vwhatever?" "MIND ME! FLATIRON SAID IM THE BOSS!"

At that point Arlo became his own boss and just gave an occasional salute and a report. I figure with the odds, at the time, 12 Allies to 3 Axis, there were plenty of firemen to go around. No problem with oak "getting into his role" ... that's fine. I'm a pretend "LCDR" in "VF-17" .... but there comes a time when it's not so immersive afterall and get's a little silly. Not that I've never been silly ... but hey. ;)

p.s. [Edit] I think Oak's starting to realize it takes more that all caps "move outs" and base capture selection from what I've just read in some other threads and forums. I'll leave my comments but reserve the right to reassess.  :)

quite often during UK night time boss, mostly in the DA furball or flying in MA squad. vox171 nits in late war will always welcome you jammy. gone are the days when we would beat on JG54 in our P40s just for the heck of it... :cry

I think some are taking thier leadership a little to much. I dont get the whole capslock thing. Maybe its to get peoples attention and let them know who is in charge. I dont remember once having to type like that to get everyone coordinated. I dont think a side is in order untill someone says "where to now" then the C/O or X/O says "A## > A##" then seeing 90% or more of that side mass rolling like the axis did in the past wars.

People who understand and maybe want to help with whats going on will also likely be the ones perfectly capable of reading normal text and comprehending who is doing what what needs doing and who is in charge anyway, those who do not will unlikely be swayed by capslock shouting.

Sorry Oak but imo capslock shouting just hacks people off.

Maybe petition HT for a different colour AVA commanders may use? would be better solution.
