Miller is past president of the American League of Lobbyists, apparently the only people truly qualified to set policy and direction.

Oh my!.. Lions, Tigers, And Bears,  I tremble at the thought of it.... we cant have the people having a say in how the goverment is managed, bills passed, leaders elected...

Yes we must go back to a monarchy. This for the people and by the people thing was a real mistake.

Better yet lets make it so who ever gets the most money decides the issues... Oh wait.

All lobbyists should be in jail. Lets fact it, their job is to bribe politicians and the last time I checked bribing politicians was illegal.

most lobbyists are lawyers, most of my customer base are lawyers.  I know lawyers pretty well, while it is difficult to generalize I can tell you that lawyers are about as generally clueless a group of people anyone will ever likely run across.  most of the lawyers I work for have obama campaign signs in front of their homes and the remainder have hillary signs.  this alone speaks volumes about these folks.

I got nothing against a representitive government if...   We were told what the representitive would do before he got elected and if he did not.. he lost his job.   If he said... lower taxes and smaller government say.. and then voted for anything that increased taxes or the size of government... out he goes.

Of course, Lazs, Lobbyists aren't elected representatives.  It's a heck of a thing.  Lobby all you want, but the folks who ARE elected had better make sure they're representing their constituency in the end, or theeeeeeeeey're oooooout!  (ideally)
