Wow---good idea---a place for idle fantasies to be expressed. Here are a few of mine.
  (1) There is an absolute absence of French aircraft. A good place to start would be with the Dewoitine 520 which not only served French units, but was used after the fall of France by the Germans thru 1945.
  (2) Might be cool to have 'radar trucks' at Vehicle hangars---maybe just 1 per hangar or as a perk vehicle---radar down? Hop in a radar truck and re-illuminate the area ---or bring one into enemy territory.
  (3) German E-boats and IJ PT boats.  Enough said.
  (4) Italian aircraft and Axis bombers are under-represented in game (IMO---of course) so a Piaggio bomber would be cool.
  (5) Swordfish (they sunk Italian fleet at Taranto---remember)
  (6)  Yak-3

But really ----the BIGGEST shortfall of AH are the maps----IMO---the best ones are mediocre and the bad ones are laughable (I always look for hobbits and Gnomes on the "Magic Mountain" map]. So how about some carefully crafted historical theatre maps??  Suggestions: (1) France 1940, (2) Malta/ Oran/ Tobruk/ Alexandria/ Sicily/ Taranto  Central Med map, (3) Leningrad/ Finnish frontier map  (4) Burma or Phillipines or Pacific map.

OK---I feel better---fun to express wish list.

here is a Piaggio P-108

and a Dewoitine 520

Or maybe a Cant 1007 bomber.

1) I agree with any request to cover gaps in the plane set.

2) Did they have portable radar in WW2?

3) Agree

4) I agree here but there are other planes needed much more.

5) Undecided

6) Absolutly

As far as your map request....

There are many very accurate and wonderful maps used in special events every week. The most recent examples are the Aleutian Islands and Japan map. With the MA structure your not going to see these maps used. Its nearly impossible to find a historical theatre that will support the HTC critera. For now Special Events is your best bet.

I like the Radar Trucks idea...Did they have any guns on them? ever? If not you could up an Osti or Wirbel to protect them.

Didn't they have a couple of sets of radar trucks setup in the Pearl Harbor area before the raid?

Or is that just hollywood again?

Well I imagine they worked off a Generator, or PTO (power take off) shaft off the truck engine.

Dewoitine 520 FTW !!

I don't think it would fill any gap, But having one more competitive early war fighter wouldn't hurt.

And its french  :rock

Map idea would be nice, although can't we go even further and set up arenas that are either Pacific or European theater based ?

Didn't have the courage to start yet another thread, but perhaps the Ki-43ii  should be added for any interested in the CBI theatre or the early/ mid war in Asia/ Pacific. Roughly 5,900 of these were produced which compares well with the roughly 6,200 A6Ms produced. It was the mainstay of the IJ Army for much of the war.
