Orange/Blue numbers shift

Since the colorful arena split, Orange has had the higher numbers. However, since about a week ago, it's been blue instead with the significant numbers advantage.

Now, anyone have any idea why this happened? The only possibility I can think of: coinciding with the numbers shift was the uterus map, on orange I believe. If this is the cause, isn't it time this map was taken out of the rotation? Anecdotally we know that most players avoid it, but now the entire momentum of AH server filling has switched because people wanted to avoid it?

I could be wrong, perhaps there is another reason for the shift. Any ideas?

The ndisles map is supposedly way overused. I guess the AH community want to fly something different other than that map over, and over, and over again.

It's simply because of the map. Every once in a while there is a much more popular map in blue than in orange. Once more people are in Blue, the "inertia" of the mass helps getting even more numbers.

But if you take a map out everytime it had less numbers than the one in the other LW arena, you would end up with only having one single map for all of them

(Not that there aren't a few maps I would like to see gone for my own reasons )

Not all too long ago it was unthinkable that Baltic would attract many more players than Ndisles - Tank Town ruled 
Only since it's biggest (only?) attraction is gone, players tend to avoid this map.

I logged on last nite and was like WooHoo FesterMA map is back.....Ofcourse my happiness went away fast once I figured out I hit Offline play instead of online....LOL. Oh well, was a quick thrill for a minute.   


But to answer the question, arena numbers is based on the map that is up at the time IMO.

i think its that nothing get done on the Uteris Map, its a constant stand still, and people are sick of it.

no it was because someone won the war in orange, so everyone went to blue. Just stayed instead of going back.
