I'm working on a research project right now to address the vehicle aspect of AHII.  Given the number of vehicles produced/used during the war, I think such a project needs to be undertaken with a global view, not with one-off suggestions.

I agree that there need to be early-war light tanks in the game, but as an example, the Russian T-60, one of the most produced vehicles in the war, was a scout tank with a 20mm SHVaK cannon, the same gun used in the La-5 and La-7.  Even though it was highly produced (over 5000), it would add little to the game next to the (primarily) 35mm cannons of it's early war peers.

I anticipate I'll be done with this project and look forward to posting it for comments sometime in the next few weeks.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I've always thought that when you would like to see a plane or tank added to the game, as long as it had a significant presence in WW2, it should not be viewed in this environment with an "arms race" attitude- "this outclasses that, so it should not be added--etc.." Just a nagging thought.

Roger that Egg.  I would welcome the addition of a Japanese Tank to the game.  Whether or not it will stand toe-to-toe with a Panzer, Tiger, or a firefly is not relevant in decision making.
