ummm hi i just downloaded the game today and i'm having an issue with taking off.
I just can't seem to get my nose to rise, and my ailarons don't work. I'm playing with a mouse, please help. 
Welcome to Aces High, Wugz. As many will tell you, this game has a steep steep learning curve. For manual takeoff in most planes, you need to correct your course on the runway with the
A key for rudder left, and the
D key for rudder right. Once you get to a good speed, usually above 150mph, you can raise your nose.
Don't pull too hard, or you will start to stall. Hit your
G key to raise your landing gear, and hit your
S key to center your rudder. Practice flying around for awhile, and when you're ready to land, just crash it. When you feel comfortable in your plane, then you can attempt to land it.
