Not to hijack the thread, but if you read the first book on fighter tactics, you would know that taking advantage of altitude was routine.....only in the AH simulator are you called names for executing excellent fighter strategies.   Most of the whiners really should limit themselves to carefully orchestrated air combat in the DA where all the chivalry is apropos.

Some play for fun..... we get down in the dirt fighting. We don't concern ourselves with score. We base our flight on fun. If your idea of fun is no fight just B&Z then so be it.

On the otherhand if your wanting to be realistic and use the B&Z tactic as you specify they did in WW2, then maybe when you are killed you should cancel your account because your dead and no longer available to fight as happened in WW2.

End of the day, the message is still the same.....The ranking system needs work.

It is nice to have a reference point to determine if what you are doing is making a difference, that is ALL rank does for me...................but when one pilot flies only 7 sorties in a particular area of the game and can hold #1 spot...........then something is messed.

I flew over 500 sorties in fighter so far in this campaign! it means nothing though other then how much time I spent in AH =/. I know the score system is super messed up in AH so it doesn't matter!

I have never been ranked even in the top 1000 as a bomber pilot...Can't hit water falling out of a boat! and owened by many!!
