Thanks for the info Fruda, much appreciated.  Dogg has been doing most of the plane engines and I have been working on the guns, ground vehicles as well as all the other sounds for the game.  THe pack we have out right now will be redone once I get moved and set up in our new house.  Guns will be tweaked so german ones sound different than american, and hit sounds will be different for the ground vehicles going by armor thickness.  Dogg has done great so far with these planes and like I said, it is a work in progress as we go on.  Most of the aircraft are tough to find engine sounds for, let alone 'good' ones.  He (Dogg) has also had more time to put into this as I have been busy with my move.  Hopefully in two weeks I will have more time....  :devil

Anyone know of a sound set for the P-38 Lightning?

The one we have on our P-38 just doesn't sound like the real thing to me. The ones I have heard at airshows sound more like a high-pitched whine of a drill or something. Would love to have something more like the real thing.

For that matter anyone know of a good site with all kinds of sounds for aircraft we can use on AH2?

Thanks in advance.   :aok

<S>!

I've got a engine sounds from a P-38F (I use it for the G), early J and L.
