I'm going to be visiting Mesquite for my daughters graduation. I'm coming from out of town, so any suggestions for decent affordable hotels and resturants would be great.
Also, is Childress Ave in a decent part of town?

Yep. Folks used to live there. Back before them critters came in those shiny ships. Not much there now. Best stay away from there.
