Colored 5inch Ack

The Japanese sucessfully employed colored ack. They used it to differentiate between different guns. This would help to aim when we can tell our ack from auto ack and other gunners.

In under 10 minutes after something has been mentioned on Battle 360, there is a post on it :lol. Though, I do wish there was a way to differentiate player puffy and auto puffy.

LOL i am getting kick out of this! Someone took the words right out of my mouth! It is a crummy idea because then we will get bickering over "why my shells aren't killing it."

Yea colored ack and then all rides limited to pink planes. :lol I did think that was a pretty neat idea they came up with when i watched that. Makes sense to find a way to tell where a specific gun is hitting so the guy fireing can direct his shot better. Of course that was on axis ships where as the allied ships had radar ranging guns later in the war. So with the ships they have modeled in here being latewar american models i wouldn't expect to see it.

but if all ack is the same color, it wouldnt help one player tell how far or close he is to the plane compared to his friendlies in a 5" gun.
