I believe that jokers jokers put up a mission for a6,I went afk for about 15 min or so and when I got back,we had A6 and the Vbase next to it...GREAT WORK BTW on the mission.. :salute

Then  I put a mission up for 63.I believe,Which took I believe 5 goons to take, that was the hariest mission I have done in awhile,And the ltars were in it and about the time a squaddie showed up to drop troops, another LTAR showed up and landed some.It was a very hairy base take, and  :salute to all invloved..

Then came base A9,which RT got ahold of. :salute, and then I see some small green icons on the map heading to 12.By then it was about 10:30pm central time,so I had to log off,and I would really like to know if they did get it,My bet is that they did.. :salute

LTAR's took A12,  not sure about 6.   If there was any "megahordes"  it sure as hell wasn't us.

The "megahordes" were at A47 & A51,  we were outnumbered all night.

The LTAR's are like very few other squads in the game anymore.  They don't need a horde to get a base... :salute

I can tell you for a fact that the Ltars where outnumbered at 12. That's one of he reasons I said it was a brilliant take. <S> Ltars

The RT did a great take at 63 the same night. It took 5 goons but persistence paid off. Falcon said it was jokers Jokers that took 6. Again great take behind enemy lines.

Thanks for all of your kind words Getback about the take at 12.   I brought the goon in low from the northeast, while all of my squad mates attacked from the south in fighters.   I cannot dogfight worth anything, so my best role for this plan was to fly the C-47.   Although we took off from different bases, we timed it perfectly to arrive together at the same time.

The only reason that I was able to get all the troops out successfully was the fact that all of the rest of the LTARS were working to deliberately keep the enemy away from the town.  Even then, there were so many planes, and so close, that I thought that the attempt would fail.

However, we managed to pull it off.   Somehow, the actual drop of the troops was never noticed by any of the opposition pilots.   I believe that the fact that the elevation of that base's town is higher than that of the base itself helped make that possible.
