Anyone Notice New Google Earth Has Flight Simulator?

...and it is STUNNING!

There are many limitations and it needs a lot of work..but WOW!

Controls are primitive, as is instrumentation..1986-era graphical interface...but the terrain is just awesome. (you can sense I'm at a loss for words here...because I am.) But you can be doing loops over your own house! (If it was built before 2004)

Joystick input is available, certain native hat switches work for view. Everything else has to input via keyboard, though I guess you could write a new profile for Control Manager that would even allow throttle and possibly rudder.

ENJOY!

UNDOCUMENTED TIP: They say to activate mouse flight control, click in middle of window. What they don't tell you is: that's also necessary to activate the joystick. Then you can control with both mouse and joystick; but (cool) you can use mouse as a trim control for your joystick.

This is what the future of Aces high 'could' look like.
