Well, I've gotta say.  I'm somewhat authoritarian by nature.  I do not believe in badmouthing my country or throwing up the past in its face.  I am guilty of this on personal levels because I'm irrational at times, but I realize it's not the way to get ahead.  As I said this is not easy to do all the time, and we all make mistakes.  I stand by my first post and certainly do not fault Kaw for anything I have read in the locked posts.  You are not squeeky clean Lyric either by your responses, especially the one to Lazs.  This is my last response to you.

It is a touchy topic of conversation, but not necessarily racist.  It takes a hell of a lot of self discipline to understand that life isn't fair and that nothing is guaranteed.  It is not easy to understand this and takes many years.  Basically it is an individual matter and cannot be applied to a race.  Any individual, no matter their race, who does not come to this realization through time, does so at their own risk.  Reality of life.

Thinking people grow weary of complainers, and with good reason.  Everyone has problems.  Everyone complains and it might be good to vent, but if it becomes too much, do not expect an eager audience.  Most people on these forums are honest.  If anything, it could open honest discussion about how to improve race relations, or relations with anyone, and I believe the most important of these is the respect from earning one's own way.  This invariably involves struggle and hardship.

Yup life is not fair. However you worsen it by handicapping yourself. Kaw1000 post just happens to  point that out.

I'm not worsening anything.  That's in your mind.  Take that as you see fit.

My point was not made clear on my part I understand who & what Mr Cosby said my remark was not toward him it was to Kaw1000 & his posts of late in this thread & others in this forum sorry for the confusion. I edited my first post again sorry for the confusion.

I see your corrections; I understand this now. However...in this case, Kaw has put up what is simply a quote, by a learned man, no less. Because of it's nature, for this peice to see enough circulation to get around, Kaw has at least done the right thing, this time-It has made it to a public forum, wherein it can be discussed. Political correctness is the enemy of all true free-thinkers. To suppress this by simply calling Kaw 'racist' based on his previous posts' is, well, trying to be some sort of PC-police. Which is the last thing the world needs. To engage him in debate would have been best; to come right out and start off with something like 'sad little man' is, well...lame.

Why are you in shade bongaroo? Too ashamed of the drivel you post or unable to remain civil enough to stay?
Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

Actually, it had been locked, but with the post recovery from the crash, anything recovered was left unlocked as there was not way to tell if it was or was not locked.
