IF YOUR COMP SHUTS DOWN
« on: April 29, 2008, 10:17:28 PM »
It may be your powered usb...

I dont know why,but my comp kept shutting down and saying there was a problem with my saitek system..I put up with this for a month or so,and could not figure out why, finally I unplugged it from my powered USB port and have not had it happen since..I just plugged it into the back of the tower.

I was also getting a HUGE FR hit when flying low over trees and now that problem is gone as well,it may of been an update. But I KNOW the blue screen shutdowns stopped due to my unplugging my x-52 from the PUSB port....

So I am passing this on hoping someone else will be able to get to the bottom of some problem they are having..The Hub seems to be working OK,and my pedals are still plugged into it,but no Blue screen as of yet..

I know plug my controller back in and see if the problem raises its ugly head again, and I will be positive,I may do that tommorrow, just to see what happens.  :aok

I am not sure how a powered hub oculd cuase this, but if it was, the hub was defective or the power supply for it was defective.  We use powered hubs around here all the time without issue.
