Bug Not Addressed By Latest Patch

Since the BIG update, it's been darned near impossible to kill gv's by divebombing them.

One of the (few) things I was good at before then was taking up a jug with 3 eggs and landing 3 kills almost every time.

Since the big update, it's like gvs are armored by a foot of concrete and 2 feet of platinum.

Today, I dropped 2,500 on a tank and it just laughed at me....this has been happening a lot.

I'll start filming again.

Anyone else notice the difference?

Being a frequent recipient of said eggs, I haven't noticed any difference at all.

Saw something similar today. We upped from a cv to a vbase, killed vhs and 1 WW got out. A fellow rook drops two 1000 on him. The first was a little off and the WW keeps going. He waited for him to stop moving, dropped a 1000 right on him and he survived! No smoke from killing the engine or turret.

Sorry to say that it has been happining, some my squadmates were dropping on a Tiger with 1000 pounders and it took about six or seven sortes to finally bring it down and I was looking on from my circling bomber of course I had no eggs, but seen many direct hits with no effect.

I wonder if it's gv type-specific?  I honestly have not seen a change as it relates to egging a Panzer, but it would be nice.

That's always been the case with Tigers.  If you don't score a direct hit in exactly the right spot they don't die.  I've sat at a GV base maproom defending in a Tiger and had 20+ bombs fall around me with either no damage, or only been tracked.

If you do hit in the right spot, 1000 lbs will kill it (which I do regularly).

On topic, I haven't noticed a difference from either the air or the ground.

Yes Rox..the same happens to me.I dropped 2 500 pounders on a panzer and it laughed too

I have found that the "close hit" kills gone down. And I also had a direct hit on a WW with a 500 lb and he survived.

I'm not terribly good at hitting things with bombs, dive bombing or otherwise.  But I seem to be upping from a lot of bases under gv attack lately so I've had the opportunity to try it a few times over the weekend and I didn't notice anything unusual.  Even missed by a decent margin a couple times with a 1000lb'er and still got the kill on one of those infernal wirlbies.
