edit sorry quoted wrong person, meant to quote Toad

Actually if you knew what you were talking about. The president has to sign off on the budget. Perhaps you were still far to young to remember all the fighting between Clinton and the Republican congress. Maybe you don't remember that the govt shut down several times because Clinton wouldn't sign the bloated Republican Congress budget.

Clinton made them come up with a budget that worked and one that paid off it's debits before he would aprove the budget. Once Clinton was gone there was no one to check the Republican spending and tax cut spree that has sunk this nation.

But I guess it's likely easier to sit back, watch to Fox news and blame everything on someone else.

Clinton helped the wrong side in Bosnia.

Hopefully you're not implying that we should have supported the Serbians in that conflict are you?

The fact is that our hands were tied by our Euro allies that had troops in Bosnia during the war.  Everytime we wanted to bomb the Serbians to enforce the NATO safe havens, we had to fight our Euro allies as well that were against defending the safe havens out of fear it might put their troops at risk to Serbian retaliation.

Personally,  I think it's a blackmark on us and well as our Euro allies that we did not step in sooner with military force and push the Bosnian Serbs back to Serbia and stop the genocide.
