After a recent GV-based Snapshot event, which was a lot of fun, I was thinking of seeing if anyone was interested in re-starting Tank Club again. This was a weekly event for GV's and something I participated in when I first joined AH 3 years ago.
However, it suffered from having only one area, with the same terrain and limited spawns, to engage in. With the newer DA map, there is still only one GV area and it is even more open, redundant and limited in engagement options than the previous. I'm not sure we could sustain interest without more varied terrain and scenarios.
My suggestion is to add multiple spawns from each base in the Death Canyon area of the DA, to each of the other two opposing bases and to areas inbetween. Create close and distant opposing spawns into open terrain areas with forests as well, and down into suitable places for GV battles in the canyons. With some variety of GV spawns, we could develop many varied tank engagement scenarios.
As the Death Canyons, in my observations, are very, very under utilized, this shouldn't impact any of the aerial combat. Most use either the furball area or the two opposing base areas.
