So, why don't you fly planes you don't fly?

I don't fly USN or USAAF planes at all, except C-47. I just don't like them. They feel somehow dull with their bare metal finish or all blue camo and boring armament, almost only heavy MG's.

Neither I fly any VVS planes at all. Only RAF plane I sometimes fly is Seafire. If I must switch to any other air force than Lufwaffe it would propably be RAF. Spitfire, Typhoon, Tempest, Lancaster and later Mossie will be quite a nice planeset!

I think the main reason why I don't fly other planes than Luftwaffe is that I have pretty good time in them, no need to fly anything else.

I dont fly anything else other than the P-38L

When I do get myself to fly something else; I sometimes fly the Seafire from carriers. Sometimes I use the 109G6 because I like tha painting.

I also find some USAAC boring except the P-38 of course and the P-47. But then again, I also find LW planes boring as hell, except for some 109 paint schemes, LW planes really looked awful except for a few exceptions (TA-152 and Me262. and Me410)

I dont fly anything russian, yet. Maybe Il2?

 I don't fly the Spit, Niki, or P-51. The rest whenever I feel like it. I'm not particular too much.

  Although the Yak and P-47 are my two favorites.

I like the big allied iron and it tends to suite my style, where most of the other rides don't suite my style very well, so I avoid them for that reason.  That, and because I am a REALLY BAD shot.  

How many remember my second account handle in beta?  

Basically, if it doesn't come with .50 cal MG's, I don't bother with it.  I like to fly the Jug, Hellcat, F4U-1D, and Pony.  The Jug is my all time favourite.  I've got my controls mapped so trigger fires all guns, and I don't plan to change it.  

I try the other kites, but I suck at shooting with them.  I am partial to the Jug for looks, abilities, and the challenge of it, so I've no interest in switching.  Most of the axis planes don't really suite my flying style anyway.  Plus, their just so SMALL... I want a plane with some substance to it!

I don't fly the others because I don't like cannons, I don't like turnfighters, I don't like small planes that can't dive, and I don't like skinny little mini-planes that my Grandma could fly. Those axis birds are all smurfy compared to my big beautiful Jug.

I don't fly fighters much because bombing is what I do.

I do not fly the Lancaster because it belongs mostly in the dark, the RAF only brought them out for daylight ops after the LW was pretty much wasted.

The Lanc is tempting for the load it carries  but, and this is only my opinion so get over it, it is a super gaming the game plane for the size of the targets it has to attack.

HQ is the obvious exception.

I don't fly the 202/205 because they are so ugly.  

I don't fly the FW's because I die like a dog in them.

109G10...

I cant get the hang of those guns....big huge drop in the 30mms (no kidding, huh) and the 20mm require a bit more skill and practice than I am willing to admit.

Plus I hate that high speed compression.  When I try to fly it like the 51, that compression really affects it.

Dont get me wrong, I love the way that plane flies.  In fact, I think I like it better than the 51. I just cant get a good handle on the gunnery with those ShVak cannon.

Bombers=slow, boring, time to do laundry.  I fly all fighters, even vehicles from time to time, but it'll take a case of beer to get me in a bomber (1 squad lanc sortie to hq last tour, and I lobbied hard for heavy fighters even on that one.)
