C-47 Unarmed Beam Position?
« on: April 28, 2008, 03:06:18 PM »
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but a quick search revealed nothing.

I would like to see an unarmed starboard beam position on the C-47.  As a realism fan, I dislike using F3, and the current C-47 leaves no other option for effectively checking one's six.

The beam position could be coded just like those on other bombers, but without a weapon.  This would simulate the loadmaster or a paratrooper leaning out of the door and communicating to the crew.

The position could be occupied by a gunner/observer, if one chooses, although I realize this would rarely happen.
