Burton Civil War Reenactment
« on: May 25, 2008, 09:17:58 PM »
I took the family to a Civil War Reenactment in Burton Ohio today.  It was awesome.  The weather was great and the old timers said that it was the best local one they’ve been to.  It was the first Civil War reenactment for me.  I’m sure that it doesn’t compare to the big ones down south and in Gettysburg, but it was great for Ohio.  I took a couple hundred pictures and a couple gigs of video and strung together a Windows Media slide show and a video.  Each one is about 2.5 minutes long and about 28 MB.  The slide show is in 1440 x 1080 resolution, so be sure to go full screen on it.

My family and I went to a civil war reenactment in Wood County, WV toaday.  It was my first as well.  And just like you imagnined what it would be like to see the one at Gettysburg.  Not to mention what the real thing would have looked like.  I didn't take any pics to share.

My three year old loved it.  We had a great time.

Edit: Great job on the slide show BTW.
