I know that the gang tard hoardlettes are bad and that it's frustrating to run into them but I've had some of the best one on ones and one on two's of my time flying in these games over the past two to three weeks.
I had a great knock down drag out fight with Saantana this weekend, Spit XVI vs Spit XVI. <S>. It was one of those fights that was going on for so long I was almost hoping someone else would come in to break it up. Sadly, they did (a countryman) after I had him on the run. Saantana ended up killing my countryman but the intrusion was enough to break my concentration and I stalled into a tree
[EDIT] To give you an idea of how long this went on I hit WEP at the biginning of the fight and ran out, then continued without it for another several minutes. Probably a 7-8 minute fight for an edge.
I've already posted in other threads about my fight with TheForce and my two on one with a couple of Yaks. These are just a few I've had lately.
What really surprises me are the variety of planes that want to take me on in the Spit XVI I've been flying most of this camp. Pony's, N1K's, Jugs, F6F's, F4U's, 190's, you name it. I guess Spit XVI has target written all over it. And the few that run, great. Let them run.
There really are a lot of good one on one and one on two's out there. You just need to know where to look for them I guess. <S> to all the guys who actually want to fight a good fight. That's what keeps me coming back.
