D-11 or(maybe) D-13
« on: May 25, 2008, 02:58:02 PM »
I know D-11 was in squads and got kills. Be maybe a light perk. D-13 though I know 17 where built and did see combat no kills. So maybe at the bottom but should get here some time.

He means the Fw190D-11 or Fw190D-13.

And no, we have enough superplanes.

The Fw190D11 and 13 would be sweet, but I agree with Karnak.

I'm to the point now of WISHING the multitude of planes that are incorrectly modelled be fixed first prior to any new planes or gv's be added.  If and when HTC decides to add any more aircraft, lets hope they put as much into fixing the current before adding more.  ;)

D11-13 when we get Spit21s and 51Hs, etc.  The more the better is true, but there's more mid- and early war planes not in yet to add before we get more very late war models.

I'd like to see a high alt version of the Bf 109G-14, a P-47D-21 and the P-38H. I'd also like to see the Ki-44, J2M3, Ki-100, Ki-43, Ki-49, Ki-21, G4M2, and the Ki-45. I'd like to see the P-51C (same engine as the D), the F6F-3, an un-neutered F6F-5 and the SB2C-3. I'd like to see the Lagg-3, MiG-3, Tu-2, Pe-2, I-16 Type 24, Yak-9D and maybe the Yak-3. I'd like to see the F2A Brewster and the Meteor F.III, as well as the Mosquito Mk.VI without the exhaust shrouds.

There's lots of aircraft that I would rather see HTC expend their time and talent on before we get anymore limited production hotrods.

My regards,

Widewing

I like that list alot, especially if they started with a remodel of the f6f's, then the russian bombers, then  worked there way from early war to late war with everything else.

By the way, did you get to see the show over the weekend?

No, I had another commitment this weekend and getting to Jones Beach wasn't practical.

I did, however, see the F-22s arrive at Islip. Our facility is just off the end of the runway. They closed the airport and the F-22s ripped up the place for 10 minutes as a demonstration for the airport personnel. Compared to the relatively tame Blue Angels F/A-18s, the F-22s are pure monsters.

I understand that the second best place to be was at Republic Field, were most of the civilian/warbird show aircraft were based (at the American Air Power Museum).

Widewing's list is good, but I'd add a Japanese attack bird or two from among the D4Y "Judy", B6N "Jill", Ki-102 "Randy" and B7A1 "Grace".
