Any alternative to paypal?
« on: June 05, 2008, 04:55:34 PM »
Well I have been Informed that I have $ 155.00 left before I hit the spending limit of
$10,000 dollars...now...they want my bank account # to continue using paypal.
I DO NOT want to give them my bank account #. Is there any other services like paypal I can use?
See Rule# 5 on just about every thread!

I've used my bank account all along. I've only done about 100 - 150 transactions with paypal, but have been comfortable with it all along.  No glitches.

And I haven't heard of anything other than paypal which is similar.

*edit* If anyone's not comfortable giving bank account information to paypal, all you have to do is open a separate account, solely for the purpose of making paypal payments.  You know when you're going to make a payment through paypal ~ just transfer that amount of monies into the bank account you've set aside for those transactions.

If anything ever happens that's inappropriate, all you have to do is close down that bank account without your main bank account having been breeched.  But if you're only putting the amount of monies in it to cover specific transactions, there's a small window of time for that to occur... otherwise it's just an empty account.

Just mail money orders, most people accept them.

Pay off your credit card in the meantime.
