Well, Holden, it's true that there are a lot of people talented enough to doctor a video. On the other hand, perhaps someone with a video-cam caught her in an unguarded moment.
The Black liberation movement has spawned a number of radical sects since the 1960s. Those that have joined such groups have been composed of bitter, hate-filled, racists. These sects have a number of beliefs in common: whites are demonized; the U.S. government is believed to be actively engaged in projects designed to eradicate blacks (AIDS); that Africa is the nexus for all past scientific, literary, spiritual, and cultural achievement (for example, Socrates and Jesus are believed to be black); and for lack of a better term, a type of fascism, which is anti-semitic, with its own form of racist dogma.
All ethnic groups have these types of course. While some pooh-pooh the idea that Obama and Michelle belong to that type of group, it would be well to remember the old saw, "You are known by the company you keep." The Reverend Jeremiah Wright is, without a doubt, a hate-filled believer in these radical, and idiotic, viewpoints. If Obama states that, after an association of two decades with that demagogue, that he was unaware of his radical beliefs, then he is a liar. I seriously dought that Obama would have severed his relation with Wright and Trinity Church if their radical beliefs had not been aired in the media.
