Don't know the guy nor met him.  How do you know him?
Dang, now in addition to not being able to criticize Kerry if we weren't in the military, not being able to criticize Barack if we're white, not being able to criticize Cindy Sheehan if we didn't lose a son in Iraq, not being able to criticize the 4 mouthy 9/11 widows if we didn't lose someone in the Twin Towers.....NOW we have to personally KNOW someone to accurately state that they are an effing idiot

<nice rebuttal of some of Al's political diatribes> http://www.nationalreview.com/lowry/lowry200403180833.asp

Al Franken was part of the "Franken and Davis" team on Saturday Night Live back in the days of 75-80.  He was an idiot then and apparently hasn't lost his touch for being an idiot. hehehe

I don't like his politics, nor his behavior and whimsical attitude.  He portrays an idiot both as a comedian and as a person.  He has no clue about most of what he talks about, and is generally unfit to be in office.  Lastly, his own personal financial mismanagement prove that he should not be giving any type of advice with regards to fiscal responsibility that is needed in the Senate.

Just a question, but do you personally "know" Bush, or Cheney?  I guess by your reasoning, if you don't, perhaps you should sthu with regards to your negative comments about them.

One of the more inane questions considering the context of this board.

Minnesota isn't full of blacks who would vote for her just because she is black.  But, the liberals will vote for Al because he is a liberal.  A nasty self-important amazinhunk yes, but liberal is all they need to hear.

Hey, there's talk of Jesse (the Body...or is it the Mind now?) running as well.

Jesse Ventura has lost it.  I don't mean that he's no longer a conservative.  I mean he's diddlying crazy.  Absolutely bat toejam insane.

He's two pieces of bread short of making himself a feces mustache.

Don't know the guy myself.  Just could not tell by the post if folks disagree with his philosophy, what he does for a living, or his choice in footwear.

Right.  Didn't know about the guy, his behavior, attitude, or his politics.  Didn't know you did.  Cool.  Now if someone asks me about Al Franken, I'll tell 'em, Bodhi's got the skinny!

If I disagree with Bush or Cheney policies or methods, I figure I'll continue to say so.  There's a difference between saying "I disagree with Bush's proposed tax plan" (an example I made up), and saying, I "Bush is a tard."

But hey, looks like I'm the one out of the loop on this Franken guy.

Drown him!  He turned me into a newt!!

And as a fellow Minnesotan, it's comments like this that embarrass me.  We do like to believe the education in this state is better then average, but sometimes I wonder.

Yep, not a single Minnesotan out there with an original thought or the abilty to figure things out for themselves.  Either idiot Liberal Democrats or idiot Conservative Republicans.

It does explain how folks like Hitler can come to power however.  Get enough of the people to believe it can only be one way, and that everyone else is out to get them and you can line em up in jackboots right behind ya.

Well, he has the ability to prioritize systematic reciprocal concepts within the lexiconigaphical framework so that a parallel third-generational capability can be established within the partisan political constructs of the status quo.
