Argentina is ranked #1

USA is ranked #21

Scorless tie

Looks like we have another game of football to be watching.

2010 in Africa may be interesting for us yanks.

Lost to England a few days ago but tied #1 in Giants Stadium.

losing to a team who couldnt even qualify for the Euros is pretty poor form.  Are the U.S.A higher ranked than england?  I wouldnt know but that is the crazy world we live in   :lol

Maybe we should look at some options,  baseball or basketball?  maybe we can do better.

USA were piss-poor against England, I'm afraid. World rankings include friendly results which we all know are meaningless. Looked like a pub team on a Sunday morning. England weren't exactly stellar either.

Argies must have had an off-day. Aren't they all on holiday?

Pretty great game for nil nil. The US played really well and created a lot of chances.  BS red card in the 70th slowed them down a bit though (looked like the ref forgot Mastroeni already had one, and gave him another for time wasting when he flipped the ball away after Argentina got a free kick outside the US penaly box.  About 30 seconds later he had to run over and show him the read as Pablo is trying to hide behind some other players hoping the ref won't realize.)

Freddie Adu is turning into a superstar also.  It may seem like he's been a dissappointment after all the hype but he's still just 19.  Also have the great Tim Howard.  Going to be a real good team.
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
