I have emailed HC T/S about this but also wanted to toss it up on the forum in case anyone else is having this problem or has had the problem and found a solution. Recently I installed the sound card listed in the Subject and when I went to try AH2 I found that aircraft engine sounds are messed up. From the moment the engine is started what I hear is the WEP sound effect and the only indication of throttle changes are a subtle change in volume. Annoying to say the least. Another problem that cropped up shortly after this started was the tank sound now plays constantly at high volume.
Changing the volume of the engine mitigates the problem of hearing much of anything else but it does not solve the problem. I have un-installed and reinstalled AH version 2.04 with no change in the problem. Also selecting the Digital Audio from the card over the standard mini jack feed has no effect either. Any one have any ideas about this?
