Vice-Minister for Labour Carlos Mateu said the current system - in place since the communist revolution in 1959 - was no longer "convenient".

no longer convenient?....    that's about 40 years to late...

"The average wage in Cuba for everyone - from doctors to farm labourers - is about $20 (£10) a month."

No wonder Cuba is so popular with the Canadians.

there is a huge black market in cuba.  since the state owns everything cubans have become adept at robbing the cuban government blind.  there are multi multi millionaires living on the island who became that way by owning clandestine business up to and including factories employing dozens of people.  the underground economy must be crippling the state.

I have lived in brasil and travelled to colombia.  in my opinion the nicest looking ladies to be found in numbers would be in cali colombia and buenos aires argentina followed closely by punta del este uruguay.  but they pale to ladies here in my town which seems to be a chick magnet, yay miami!  LA has a nice population of attractive women as does NY too.  no need to leave home to find beauty, theres plenty here.

I respectfully disagree with your Miami choice.
