not quite, at least with me.  I have a Samsung 906BW 19" widescreen and I get a blue "halo" around aircraft in game.  Haven't been able to pin point the cause.

Running at 1440x900x32bit 75Hz refresh rate on an ATI x1650 XT Pro with DVI connection.  I've tried different DVI cables and still have the blue halo around planes.  This is the only game that I have this issue with.  *shrug*

ack-ack

Ok let's rephrase that: As crystal clear as possible considering the electro-mechanical condition of your part. If you use DVI to connect and get any kind of distortion to the picture it most likely means your display has some fabrication related problem.

I had the blue halo when I ran 1360 x 765... I got around it by changing refresh rate to 60 - cleared right on up!  I am now using a 37" HDTV to play aces high on - *Homer Simpson Voice*  mmmmmmmm big screen  My tv has an 8ms rate and honestly the only games that I have a problem with are games with dark areas like some levels of far cry - LCDs dont produce dark contrasts well... never so much as an offbeat flicker in IL2 of AH

Well if you're going to run the 226B LCD at _anything_ other than the native refresh 1680x1050 and 60hz you're automatically going to get image problems.

So can this only be done on WS monitors?

I've been trying to get this to work on my BenQ 19" 4:3 ratio LCD but no luck so far.
