Did it see combat?
Was it a production plane?
Did it see squadron service?

Ok, fine, the more options you have the better, but surely FOUR 30mms is enough...

Yeah, I know I can't hit the proverbial barn door with them, but still, it SHOULD be enough.

Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

One prototype was equipped with a 50mm BK 5, didn't see any combat (Me 262 A1a/U1)
Two planes were equipped with a 50mm MK214 (Me 262 A1a/U4). One single combat sortie was flown, but the cannon jammed.

If one has a difficult time raping bombers with quad 30mm cannons... a single 50mm cannon is not going to make things any easier.  In fact... ah never mind.  :)

No, No, No.

You weren't asking for a Me 262 - we already have that.
Glock89 was asking for a 50mm equipped one.  - On that matter, see my post above.

Just take a B-25H. It'd be about as effective.

:D
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I say give us rockets they seemed to work & would go right on our current 262 model we have in the game.     http://www.stormbirds.com/warbirds/tech_r4m_rocket.htm   Plus if you look through the rest of this web site you will find just about all you need to know about the 262. Here is a link to a b24 taken out by 262 rockets. http://flickr.com/photos/21734563@N04/2113721262/in/pool-usaaf/
