Would be nice to have but won't happen this is mainly an air to air game with GVs as a side.  Plus infantry would be too complicated to be put into the game.  Although I do see a possibility of engineers.  Perhaps you could get out of your vehicle walk over a hill and place a charge on an enmy tank which would blow up in 30 seconds and would kill you if too close to explosion.

you can block a single ISP number or the whole ISP range of numbers, but then you might be blocking other members from playing.

Not quite correct; multiple users on a LAN can share one public IP address.  And many people are dynamically assigned an IP address each time they connect, so their IP address is different from one day to the next - today you might have the IP address that a PNG was using yesterday.

Generally speaking, if they change, you can do a ban like 192.168.* and it will block all IP's from that on. Otherwise, that is what account bans are for. :)

Combat Tour may address this desire for an increased infantry role.  From what i've read, ground targets will be greatly expanded in CT.  Including troop trains, armored and non armored road convoys and some infantry ground targets, such as artillery positions.  However I doubt anyone will be ordering companies of infantry around.  As stated previously, Aces High is primarily about the Air War.
But I agree with expanding the infantry target list.  It certainly would make the role of tactical aircraft more interesting.  Personally I'm getting a bit bored with shooting at houses, field guns and the odd panzer here and there.  Been there, done that.
