Shotgun, what has been said by Blkmgc and Motherland in the 2 posts after your question are both critical ingredients to a successful calibration, additionally we have found that a constant airspeed is a must as well, from the time you level out your aircraft it requires at least one grid of travel in level flight for the aircraft to achieve that airspeed. The information in your E6B will tell you what you need to know, disregard the indicated airspeed, but the true airspeed should be within 5 MPH of the calibrated airspeed and if you are within this window then drop on target, if the true A/S is under the calibrated A/S then drop a little short, if the true A/S is greater than the the calibrated A/S then drop a little longer, how far long or short on the drop depends on the diff between the two airspeeds, if the difference is very great do a re cal if you have time, also once the calibration is completed use only the J & L keys (rudder keys) no stick turns, to make your left & right corrections, the rest is practice, these are the basics that we The Avengers like to stick to, but it is still a learning process for us all. Over the weekend a wind factor has been added to the game and we haven't been as accurate since then, we are working and testing daily to understand how to factor the wind variable into the calibration, any ideas along these line would be appreciated.
All in all it is still an evolving game and we The Avengers welcome all of you here, the joint missions have been very enjoyable and I hope they continue.
