So obviously i'm not the Original "Hammer", and I dont care that other people are called Hammer as well.  Matter of fact I think its pretty cool there are so damned many of us!

I just wanted to see WHY you picked Hammer as your ID.  I used to play the game under the name "Slash621" and switched to this one.   I picked HAMMERR (the double R) as I knew the original Hammer was taken (by our fantastic instructor/knowledge base Hammer) and still wanted the basic name.

Why am I a Hammer?  I was born one, named after the detective "Mike Hammer" by my father.

So why are you a Hammer?

Sub discussion :
Should we form a Hammer night in the future?  Where all of us Hammers get together and apply our namesake to a random chosen enemy?  I think the check 6 calls over vox would be hilarious....  We could even call it "Hammer while Hammered and drink while flying".

MC Hammer here, you might remember me?  I was too legit 2 quit?  I'm the guy who used to use his pants as a parachute?  I havent been on in a while, I had a little financial trouble.  I'm hoping to buy a new computer soon so I can fly again.  Only a matter of time before Dancing with Stars sends me that letter... Or Celebrity Rehab.... Or Celebrity fit club.....

Frankly, I think it is Hawk or falcon that is the predominant name. In fact I was writing a poem called 23 hawks based on the Dr Suess poem 23 daves. However, I could never get it quite right.

Hammer is popular because it is both a noun, a verb, an adjective, and an aerobatic maneuver.  That means it is extra useful as a word.  When used together it looks like this: "A very hammered Hammer executed a hammerhead and hammered the foe."

Hammer is also close to HAM which is a pork product and like bacon, is quite tasty.
