I saw that movie The Mist...
« on: June 20, 2008, 07:55:11 AM »
I think I'm now stupider because of it. That was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life, it may have been cuz I missed the first 5 minutes of it, but I doubt it...  :noid

The wind for their watcher, the wave for their shroud,
Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,
A requiem fitting for heroes

I thought it was pretty good. Was pretty intense, makes you wonder what YOU would do in that situation. From what I heard the Director got Stephen Kings blessing to change the ending, which in the novella was left wide open.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I saw the ending where he kilt his whole family and then people show up about 2 minutes after he did that.

From what I know, there is no other film ending. Like I said, the ending in the book was different.

Stephen King is an interesting author.  However I think he has how people panic perfected to an art.

As for the ending?  I've never laughed harder before in my life.

The story itself was much better than the movie.
The three most common expressions (or famous last words) in military aviation are:'Did you feel that?' 'What's that noise?' and'Oh S...!'

As it usually is.
