RIP my friend....

O Club,
     Scott Kalitta passed away today during the third session of NHRA qualifiing today around 3 pm EST.  For me this hits close to home as fellow drag racer and resident. He lived only few miles from me and owns a marina nearby. Recently I had the pleasure to get his autograph during the Gainesville race earlier this year. He was a gentlemen and well respected racer. He will be missed...

Sorry to hear that Strip. I'm not a big fan of drag racing or any other racing. I only know I broke my leg 2x racing motorcylces when I was young.

I attended a drag race in Muncie Indiana when I was very young. A drag car lost control and threw it's front axle into a crowd killing an 18 year old boy. That was my last Drag race.
