Flight Controller Question
« on: June 24, 2008, 04:00:36 PM »
My X-52 Pro bit the dust yesterday.  Don't know why, and at this time don't really care.  I have had several problems with it losing calibration and such, and have heard others having the same problems.

It seems from reading the forums that the CH is the way to go, so my question which one, and where is the best place to get the stick and throttle.

Thanks for any assistance's.

Fred

Provantage is a good place to get them. Most time they have the best price. CH sets the price, so they are pretty close any way. Fighter stick USB, Pro Throttle USB, and Pro Pedals. Also the best idea is to get a powered USB hub to plug them all into.

Provantage seems to have the best prices on CH gear.
I have a CH fighterstick :aok. Be advised that none of the CH sticks are twisties so you will have to get rudder pedals or use keyboard for rudder.

I just yesterday got my Pro Throttle.  Ordered it off Buy.com... practically the same price as Provantage but shipping was free instead of $7.

I suggest looking at www.pricegrabber.com, input your zip code, and let it price compare for you.

I've now got the Fighterstick, Pedals, and Throttle all from CH... I like them all.  There's so many buttons and switches on both the fighterstick and the throttle, I doubt I'll be able to map them all.  And if I do it'll take me forever to remember them all instictively lol.

You will be surprised at how fast you memorize what all the buttons do, and after a whileyou will find it's hard to fly without them.
