course.. it is not even possible to say the lyrics to a few of his songs today because of PC.

Warren Zevon gets an honorable mention I would think for "send lawyers guns and money" if nothing else.

I can go along with Willie Nelson and Warren Zevon for sure.

Haven't heard Marty Robbins mentioned yet :) Did he write his own stuff? I'm always a sucker for a good ballad.
