LAN Connection issues
« on: June 27, 2008, 10:15:40 AM »
Hey, Me and my friend decided to play aces high II today, over a LAN game. It normally works fine but this time I cannot see his server

Are there any things I should/He should do before playing, such as port forwarding or is it possible to connect Via IP, thanks.

LAN play is Local Area Network, and can only be played were the computers are connected on the same network in the same house. AH2 no longer supports connection over the internet except through there servers paying the subscription price.

I know what LAN means, but I use HAMACHI to create a virtual LAN, so I can play online with Aces high. It worked before, last year, don't see why it does not work now.

I figured that, which is why I told you it is NOT supported, so you won't get any tech help, and it is against the AH user agreement, so technically your breaking the law by trying to do it. Let it go.
