Are you running Vista?  If so, I believe you'll find the answer in this thread.

you are correct, they should be in the :

C:\HTC\Aces High II  folder or C:\programfiles\HTC\Aces High II  folder listed as ahss01.bmp    ahss02.bmp etc........


or as Murdr has posted if you are using vista
