Separate gunner scores from fighter scores.
« on: December 27, 1999, 11:32:00 AM »
I would like to see gunner scores being separated from fighter scores.

reasons:
There is no risk of being killed as gunner, also it messes up those score boards a little <ducks>
Lets say Joemud as an example, he has 524 kills, which of 169 are made as gunner (many with that chute abuse also.. tsk), and rest 355 kills in fighters, though, with good results.
Now, lets see, 169 kills without any risking of own life, into fighter scores.
If B-17 pilot who guns from himself, gets scores into bomber scores, but gunner who guns for B-17, gets scores into fighter scores without risking his life like the pilot does, whats the point?

No bad feelings joemud.. eh.. just an example..

Good idea, but not with the priority of nose bounce

Still, it would be nice to differentiate maneuver and ack kills from gun kills, as well as collisions.

I like having a overall combined score, but it would also be nice to be able break it down into fighter and bomber scores for those who care more about one than the other.
