Retard question about inserting images

 I'm sorta new to the whole forum thing and I'm trying to figure out how to insert an image into a post.  (Like if I were gonna insert a picture into this post)  When I hit the Insert Image tab above all that shows up is this....
                       
                             
 
         I dont know what that means or if theres an other way do chose a picture to add to a message but I know I'm missing something here.

Upload your picture or pictures to some site like Photobucket. You can get an account there and it is free. After you load the picture you'll see some boxes under it. Click on the one that says "image code" then come here and paste it into your post.

Might start with a more PC adjective than retard.  Especially in the title of your post.     Maybe "assi type question" would be more appropriate.
