Game Crashes To Desktop
« on: July 02, 2008, 09:16:25 PM »
Here within the last month been running into a problem where I go toload AH and right after I go to the lobby it crashes to desktop. Already uninstalled and then resintalled the game and it helped for awhile. But it takes up to a half hour of trying to log in before I able to log in and play. After that I have no problems.

only made two recents changes to my computer. INstalled a secondary hard drive and any one with Comcast know the changes they made.

Computer I have

Processor: AMD-64
Video Card: GeForce 7800 PCIx16 Express
RAM: 2 GB
Operating System: Windows XP Home Fully Updated

I think a DXDIAG output would be helpful here,

I had similar problems despite plenty of RAM (2 GIGS) and video RAM (768 MB) after last update. Try disabling preloading textures and skins. Also if you go from online to offline, consider exiting game or even rebooting (memory leak?). My two cents.

How hot is the room the computer is in?  summer time brings out lots of heat symptoms.

Did the DXDIG and had noluck still happening. The room is between 65-75 degrees F. Being in the Air Force has some advantages especially in the summer such as free AC

Doing the DXDiag doesn't fix anything, save the report and post it here or email it to support and Skuzzy'll look at it.
