Join the oldest 38 squad in aces high

I believe the 479th are the oldest continuously operated P38 squadron in AH. The oldest P38 squad is the 475th (the current group is the 4th or 5th to carry that name).

The 39th are a great group, regardless.

Seems to me the 80th is the most consistantly 38 flying crew and has certainly been around as long as those 39th dweebs!

The squad has been active in Aces High for a couple of years. We are pretty low on numbers right now... thats why the boss is looking for a few more to join up

I am part of the wing 39th flew with, TB actually gave me my squad name. I thank him for that >>S<<

Yep that is correct, the 39th FS was the first squadron to receive the P-38 in the 5th AF. The other squadrons in the group had to soldier on with their P-39's before re-equipping with the P-47 later in the war.
