AHHH, a Company man eh?

You completely miss the point sir.

We the paying subscribers have identified a problem that has become increasingly annoying. The stale map problem has been whined about, discussed, argued, and debated, by us the subscribers that pay the freight... The responses we get are...  <crickets chirping> . There have been several interesting proposals/suggestions as to a solution to the problem that have been... ignored, dismissed, and rejected without so much as a peep out of those who can effect a favorable outcome to this everlasting problem. Meanwhile YOU chime in with the Nuremberg Defense... and I liberally paraphrase, "I am only following orders". Please spare me the fingerpointing...

As others have stated... Submitting a map is like throwing matter into a black hole. Nothing is ever heard about the submitted map (that took serious time and effort to make) again.

It would be nice to at least have a little dialog with those at HTC that can impact this issue, and a little serious discussion about what can be done and how we (the subscriber base) can help.

The FIRST step in the problem solving process is to identify the problem... We are there. Let's FIX this mess of a map problem once and for all!

I just love the way you guys come on these boards, kick HTC and company in the nut sack, and THEN ask them to fix something YOU think is a problem! Your all a bunch of pathetic 12 year olds ! (my apologies to the real 12 year olds).

Just because YOU havn't heard what happened to a map that was submitted doesn't mean it wasn't checked and commented by HTC and co. Maybe what needed to be fixed was just a small thing, but to do so ment rebuilding most of the map. Now a project that is already large and time consuming has to be reworked from point "A" agaiin. Maybe that person just gave up !

How many maps have you built and submitted? I've started 3 and have given up on all three, I just don't have the time. Spend a couple of 40 hour weeks working on a map and then we'll talk.

HAving the same map in LW is a bit of a pain, but I can still find a fight when I get to log on. If your so bored with the map, instead of flying on a boring map, or spending your time here demanding HTC fix it, spend your time helping with the problem.........

Make a MAP !
