I have thought about what is missing in Aces High and yesterday I got what it was. Its naturlich, Rails.
We need railroad, trains with supply to the fields from HQ, (with new planes, spares for certain planes, ammo, fuel.)

Yep, railroads and ROADS. Tanks should be much faster using roads. Even towns near the roads to hide armoured batallions.

Anyway, railroads imply a serious problem. You can attack any part of the railroad and the train will be unable to reach destination. So, it should be really really easy to negate enemy transports.

LOLLLL!L!L!L! The next question is:
Will locomotives be human-driven? If so, how many models.... ....and then another ethernal discussion about under and overmodeled engines. Mu locomotive is faster than yours and so ...

Well, the track should be easy to repair, only slowing down the train a bit, what matters is the locomotive and the wagons.
The train should be "ottomatic" controlled.
Maybe the AA on train manned by players.

Word has it that roads and railways are a difficult thing to program. HTC will have to jump in and give the proper reasons here, but we can forget about seeing them in the near future from what I understood.

Just put a few acks on the train.  And because the train moves, the ack shouldnt be as accurate as an airfield ack, making train busting not as suicidal
