Quite a drive really. I guess that's how you show your critics are hopelessly wrong.

I caught the replay of the race.   Lewis' pass on the Hanger Straight was great.    He's taken a beating in the press as of late, but this one should give him some breathing room.

Anyone else think all F1 would be hugely improved as a spectacle if all the circuits were fitted with randomly activated sprinklers?

The was the best race in a while. I was screaming at the TV for Ron to get LH in for full wets before he spun off or the safety car was deployed. Shows what I know. Very impressive from young Mr Hamilton.

Good race and well driven by hamilton. I must say that i was the most impressed by the 4 rapid overtakes heidfelt did to get him to 2nd place tho. Nice tactic with the full rain tyres for honda too.

It was easyer for hamilton all the way as he did not have to overtake and could focus on staying on the track after he got passed kovalainen. Much harder to drive well in those conditions when you have to push to overtake than to lead with a clear track infront and no spray in your face.

How he had the balls to go past kovalainen  and not lose it around the outside of the next corner was impressive.  He deserved to win it for sheer bravery.

What was Massa up too?   Looked like hed never seen rain before!

a 3 way tie for the championship hasnt happened in a long time makes it a little more exciting.

Ain't it funny how there was no thread to be found in here about the Canadian GP. :D

When the FIA did away with traction control in F1 the real drivers rise to the top when the track conditions become less than ideal.

Massa has poor car control, he has had difficulties on some tracks in the dry, let alone Silverstone in the wet.

What Hamilton did in the British GP was very impressive. To maintain the pace that he did in those conditions on intermediate tires was a prime example of great car control.

I actually enjoyed that race. As a "Yank" F1 isn't my fav....but I do catch a race from time to time. That kid is pretty damn good.
