I've about had it with these sticks.

The standard X-52's all seem to have this problem. I've now burned through three of them. I'm going to see if I can't get them to send me a pro stick in exchange of these two standards I have neither of which work. Both having this same problem.

I took mine back!  After screwing with it for an entire week I got sick of it.  I didn't care for the sloppy stick handling.  I instead went back to my ole reliable 3DPro.  I took everyone's advice and bought a Belkin powered USB hub.  I still kept getting "light flashes" and losing calibration.  I didn't need the hassle so after owning it for a week, I took it back for a full refund.  I think the stick is nothing more than a big ole pile of poop.  Just my two cents of course.

Almost 3 years on my X52 set. No issues yet. A powered USB hub is a must because they are very power hungry... much like some players :lol

one of my squaddies posted  his x52 to another squaddie because he hated it un-calibrating all the time (gave it away for free and paid the P+P).  I'm not sure whether he invested in a usb hub or not but rumble didnt have much luck with it either.

I've tested the x52 around wurzels house and thought I'd show him some of my uber skillz  and I just couldn't get anything out of it.  Infact it made me look worse than wurzel !!!

CH all the way.

I've come to learn its usually  the operator, not the equipment :D
